Tin Machine lyrics

Tin Machine
Artist/Band:
David Bowie
Album release date:
1989
Album guest musicians:
Reeves Gabrels, lead guitar; Hunt Sales, drums, vocals; Tony Sales, bass, vocals
Album description:
Tin Machine was the result of David Bowie's "I don't want to be a star; I just want to be one of the guys in the band" phase. It was a noisy, intentionally unrefined, and somewhat unpopular four-man group: David Bowie, Reeves Gabrels, and Hunt and Tony Sales, who Bowie had worked with way back when he was writing and touring with Iggy Pop in the mid-'70s. While Tin Machine only lasted for a short time (recording only two studio albums and one live album), it was the beginning of a 13-year working relationship with guitarist Reeves Gabrels.

Under The God lyrics

No one can blame you
For walking away.
Too much rejection.
No love injection.

Life can't be easy.
It's not always swell.
Don't tell me truth hurts, little girl,
'Cause it hurts like hell,

But down in the underground
You'll find someone true.
Down in the underground;
A land serene;
A crystal moon.
Ah..

It's only forever.
Not long at all.
Lost and lonely.
That's underground.
