Rammstein and The Future
So what is Rammstein doing on their new project/album? Who knows; it's better if it's kept as a surprise! I don't want to know the details; I just want them to take as much time as they need to put together something they are happy with and release it whenever it is ready.
There is a lot of stuff floating around out there; people complain that the group doesn't sing in English, that they are antiAmerican (addressed in a previous blog entry), and that they 'take too long to complete a work'. Some works take longer than others; sometimes there are unforseen delays that have nothing to do with the group. In any case I think the most important thing is that the band remain true to itself; keep its sense of integrity and not be pressured by any factors trying to push them from the outside (that includes even the fans). I also hope they won't be afraid to be controversial sometimes, and stick to the high standard we have come to enjoy from a band like this.
Do you know when do they plan to release a new album? As Paul Landers said in one of interviews, the band has 30 tracks already. But it was almost 8 months ago. And no releases for more than 3 years.
Hi... I recently read on one of the band's website forums (I believe it was Herzeleid.com), a fan told the moderators they'd seen the projected release date for the new project as November 30th of this year. The moderator responded and basically said that 'the information probably wasn't fake, but not necessarily true either; it's only a projected date the LP will be ready'. Realistically, I wouldn't expect anything until late this year or maybe early next year... but they are working on something so keep the faith and enjoy the abundance of material the group has already blessed us with! I also advise you to check out their websites; they have several, just do a Google or Yahoo search under 'Rammstein' and go exploring on the web. There's lots of interesting things to look into while we wait for the new project to be completed.
