Sending My Love Out To Mr. Bassman This Weekend...
Although it isn't talked about much, the bass player's position in a rock group is such an important one. The bass is the mediating, go-between force that connects the percussion to all of the other sounds; so if the bassman isn't a sharp listener, if he isn't able to connect and link up his instrument to all of the other ones, the overall sound is affected. This weekend Rammstein's bassist will be 'putting out the fire' on another set of birthday candles... so today I send out a special word of thanks, to him and to all those who aspire to master the craft as well as dear Olli has done.
Remember to love your bassman, people!! ;)

This is my first post and it's appropriate that it would be in celebration of our bass player Diana Dokos. We all get soothed and lifted by her sweet and spirited bass lines. And she has written the music side of a couple of our best tunes.
Congrats to your basswoman too, for her talent and good choice of an instrument ;).
