The Tower of Dudes
Hailing from the Czech Republic, The Tower of Dudes are a horribly named, wonderfully adept indie rock band that mix elements of folk, country, punk, and indie rock into one powerfully charged sound. When banjos mix with three chord guitar licks and sounds good you know you are doing something right and that is exactly what's going down with The Tower of Dudes. They are amazingly adept at crafting English songs too, almost shockingly so. While most European bands that sing in English normally flub a few things here or there, The Tower of Dudes just nail it in every way. They are obviously fluent in English and music and they make you feel like you are just inadequate for not being able to pull this off despite living in one of the wealthiest (not anymore) nations in the world. They are just that good.
