Disco-experiments by Madonna

It looks like pop-diva and fashion icon Madonna is always at the win. She is skilled and capable to learn quickly and achieve success, which was regarded as impossible to gain. But there is nothing impossible for Madonna and she proves it every minute of her personal and stage life.

Throughout her long music career she used to employ disco style twice, in the very beginning, when she debuted with her first studio album 'Madonna' in 1983 and in 2005 with release of her latest CD album 'Confessions on the Dancefloor'. Funny, but Madonna has never been regarded a disco-singer. Her career began in mid 1980s, when disco faced popularity. She failed, however, to distinguish herself from other disco artists, until 25 years after.

Madonna is widely believed to revive the disco-style with her 10th jubilee CD album, which sold over 10 million copies. Her 'Confessions Tour' was a big success, as Madonna posed as still energetic, flexible and glamorous artist, however, sparked some controversy when she used religious symbols such as the crucifix and crown of thorns in her performance of 'Live to Tell'. Her 'Confessions Tour' in 2006, netted her with a paycheck of $65 million dollars.

Arranging the CD, the celebrity bought ABBA's single 'Gimme, Gimme, Gimme' and placed it as an initial song. The 'Hung Up' video has only added to her commercial success and became one of the most successful singles of all time, reaching number one in a record breaking 41 countries. Madonna opened the 2006 Grammy Awards with the 'Hung Up'.

It looks like Madonna experiences life in the disco rhythm. No wonder, she has done up a room of her senior daughter Lourdes at the London house in the disco style, through decorating the ceiling with mirror mosaic and painting walls with glittering dyes. It looks like disco has never been vanishing and 47-year old Madonna succeeded to prove it and gave the style a fresh start.

Since the late 1990s, Madonna has been a devotee of the Jewish mysticism preacher Kabbalah Centre and a disciple of its head Rabbi Philip Berg and his wife Karen. She also studies personally with her own private-tutor, Rabbi Eitan Yardeni, whose wife Sarah Yardeni runs her favorite charitable project, "Spirituality for Kids", a subsidiary of the Centre.
