The Lost Tunes website claims to hand pick "exclusives and hidden gems, bringing them to you as top-quality digital downloads". Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl Thursday morning at a south Mississippi hospital, according to a friend of the Spears family. The friend, who asked not to be identified because the family had not yet announced the baby's birth, told The Associated Press that the baby was named Maddie Briann and weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.

Metallica Names New Album 'Death Magnetic'

Metallica's new album will be titled "Death Magnetic" and is expected in September via Warner Bros. The news was revealed over the weekend via the band's Web site.

No new material has been played live at the band's handful of recent shows, but British journalists have heard rough mixes of six untitled songs, several of which cross the seven-minute mark.

Amy Winehouse taken to hospital

Amy Winehouse has been taken to hospital after fainting in London yesterday (June 16).

The singer is undergoing tests after passing out at her home, although she is said to have "quickly recovered".

According to a spokesperson, it's unclear what caused her to faint and she may be kept in overnight for observation.

Lou Pearlman, the producer who created the popular boy bands the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years in prison.

Pearlman pleaded guilty in March to two counts of conspiracy, money laundering and using false statements in a bankruptcy proceeding.
