When I was born, the first words that I
had heard
Were the words of Allah being whispered through my ear
And as I felt Allah’s power in my soul
That day Islam took me in it’s fold

All praise is due to Allah
For what he’s given us for today

We learn to live for Allah

That covers and conceals
Salat is our therapy

Salat is our pillow
That gives us rest and peace
Salat is our sustenance

Tala‘a ’l-badru ‘alayna

ma da‘a li ’Llahi da‘
O the white moon rose over us
From the valley of wada’
And we owe it to show gratefulness
Where the call is to Allah

When I wake up in the morning
What do I say?
Thank you Allah for this beautiful day
I sit down my breakfast
My porridge I eat
I pray to Allah for the people on the street
I go to school
About Islam I have to know
What about those people who can’t afford
to go
And when it’s time for me in bed to be
I thank Allah for everything He’s given me

The earth on which we walk
The sky above so high is Allah’s work
To Him we belong, to Him we’ll return
Ya Allah, to You I pray
What did you bring me in this world for?
To live for Islam and You, Allah
Obey our Prophet, Rasulu ’Llah salla ’Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam
The air that we breath
Everything we see
Is created by Allah
So why do we live?
And why do we die?

Ya Rabbi bi ’l-Mustafa
Balligh maqasidana
Wa ’gfir la-na ma mada
Ya Wasi‘a ’l-karami
O my creator, O Allah
Fulfill our aims in life Allah
Forgive our sins, Ya Allah
