I was born in England in the early 50's; grew up in the hippy era, listened to the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and many other great groups.
Moved to Canada in the 70's, lived in the city until I met my future husband, and found out about rural life. What a shock to my system that was, ha, ha. Well now I have learned to live, raise lots of children, and survive without power for many years. We now have solar panels to help with our life-style. As I've recently retired from fostering, ( although there is always someone coming back, smile,) I am trying to reinvent myself. I have always loved to sing, and still do around the house, makes me feel good. I love to listen to my classical music when I am on my own so no-one makes a sound as I concentrate
on what I am listening to; I seem to always find something in the music to think about later. I am going to write about my fostering experiences, as many friends and acquaintences have asked me to. Writing is something I enjoy so it would be a pleasure to do this. I would like to learn the piano for my own enjoyment; and would like to learn how to quilt and make other crafts I might find interesting as I go along on this new journey in my life.
All in all I just pray I can achieve some of these things, and maybe throw a cruise or two in there as well.
